“Joanne Whalley was our singer's bezzy mate (Pressure, Janice Addnett).

Wouldn't have minded a pop at her myself back then but I found her a tad aloof shall we say!

Perhaps she had slightly higher aspirations than a bunk-up with a scrote drummer from Hattersley??? :D”

“We lived in Devilles for the majority of 1982! Can't say I recognise any of these faces but we were always wrecked anyway. Who remembers the Dancing Tarantulas a collection of headcases who did 'free-style' dancing.

Al Maskell was the DJ and guitarist in our band Pressure. We played there a couple of times, one of those was the ill-fated 'audition' for Harbor Records owner Bill somebody-or-other, can't remember his name, but he was a schister and caused the band to split. The aforementioned Dancing T's 'supported' us on the other occassion, funny.”
